Event Account Representative

We thrive on extraordinary client experiences and know it takes a good team to be able to pull it off. We are seeking dedicated local Event Account Representatives to increase our clientele. This role will bringing in new business for corporate events, private parties, and Alive Nashville membership. You must love being on the phone, interacting with clients in person, negotiating contracts, upselling services & making money within a fast-paced and fun-filled, team-environment!

What You’ll Do:

  • Call on new businesses to introduce them to Nashville Parties and Event’s services
  • Help develop membership for Alive Nashville
  • Conduct research to find potential new clients
  • Attend networking events to represent Nashville Parties and Events

Previous sales experience and/or event experience preferred but will train the right person. High energy, professional and enthusiasm are a must! Compensation is 100% commission only but we offer an unlimited earning potential and flexible hours.

We are looking for Rock Star Interns for the Summer 2017 Semester!

Do you love hosting parties and coordinating events? We are looking for an AWESOME intern to assist with social media and marketing campaigns, learn the ends and outs of planning some really cool events, and promote our company! You will learn how to produce and promote events from top to bottom including dealing with vendors, suppliers, charity partners, marketing, social networking, collateral, bloggers, PR and much more.

What You’ll Do:
  • Write & post content via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Google+ and other emerging social platforms.
  • Research industry trends to assist in the development of marketing strategies.
  • Contact media and bloggers to promote upcoming events
  • Helping with on-site event management
  • Assist in business development

Who You Are:
  • Junior or senior enrolled in a bachelor degree program in marketing, business, advertising, public relations, communications, or related field.
  • 21 years or older
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Outgoing, friendly, extroverted.
  • Social media expert, versatile in various platforms
  • Familiarity with WordPress, graphic design skills, and SEO knowledge a huge bonus
  • Must have your own laptop

Position is unpaid, however bonus from leads generated through your activities is available. College Credit is Available. 10-15 hours weekly for 3 months starting August 1, 2016. Flexible schedule, primarily working from home with occasional personal meetings. Some night and weekend work will be required. Must consent to signing a non-disclosure agreement. This position reports to the CEO.
